We are looking for a Junior motivated to learn and grow. However, if you are more senior, don’t be shy to apply - experienced proactive team mates are always welcomed.

Puzl is looking for an Interior Architect with a specialized focus on Interior Design, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment), decorations, materials, and lighting. Someone who understands how it is done and has a passion for aesthetics.

This role is not your traditional interior decorator role - quite the opposite, in fact. We believe that interior design is more than decoration, it is an architectural extension of the soul of a building. We don’t just fill rooms—we build experiences. By treating everything from texture of the walls, through ergonomics of the custom furniture to visible MEP routing as essential architectural details, we create spaces that feel like an intentional product rather than a collection of parts. You’ll be using Revit (and AI) to design the interior experience—managing everything from lighting, wall finishes, floors, textures, sound proofing, furniture, decor and visual language.

Following the guidelines and reporting to the Chief Architect, you will be the owner of the soft soul of our 2,000m2 projects, ensuring that our industrial aesthetic is balanced with high-end comfort, functionality, and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Interior Design & Spatial Planning
  • Interior Design: Develop concepts, mood & design boards and material palettes that align with the Puzl Brand DNA.
  • Support Lead Architects: Prepare and present spatial layouts, focusing on user flow, building specifics, concept goals, acoustic performance and lighting atmosphere.
  • Compliance: Ensure all interior elements comply with architectural standards and building codes (fire safety, durability, accessibility).
  • Drawings: Create furniture maps, interior elevations and drawings for all interior finishes, including acoustic panels, decor panels, floorings etc.
  • Custom Interior Elements: Find suppliers, lead the collaboration, production, transport and installation of all interior custom elements with existing or outsourced technical drawings. Such include office desks, tables, green walls, libraries etc.
  • Visual Language: Apply and implement Puzl Brand to the buildings including office signs, foil, boards, evacuation schemes, etc.
  • Lead Quality Control:  From FF&E quality to floors, lighting and acoustics you are ultimately in charge of the quality of the interior and the work of involved sub-contractors.
  • Handover to Operations: Create all floor plans & furniture maps for Community teams once the project is completed.
2. BIM Designs
  • Modeling & Plotting: Responsible, in collaboration with Lead Architect, for arranging deco lights (pendants, sconces, floor lights) and significant furniture elements(libraries, wall decorations etc) within the Shared Revit Model, collaborating on perfect alignment with visible MEP routing and architectural specifics.
  • Assess room acoustics: Add the needed materials to improve room acoustics.
  • Support Technical Architects & Engineers: From deco lights positioning and MEP route planning, to designing complex staircase railings that require a team effort, you’ll actively collaborate with the team on achieving the best possible solution.
  • Performance Analysis: Careful analyze of the acoustic harmony of our spaces, ensuring our industrial aesthetic aligns with the comfort required of a premium office. Refine our lighting with the same level of care, tailoring the ambiance to meet the highest functional standards while picking deco lights.
3. FF&E Sourcing & Specification
  • Research and specify all "off-the-shelf" furniture, lighting, decorations and finishes.
  • Maintain the Interior Library within our Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring all specs are up-to-date for the Commercial Manager’s BoQ.
  • Place orders, handle deliveries and track logistics of FF&E.
  • Coordinate factory orders, delivery and finishes of our custom furniture.
  • Find and select all equipment for meeting rooms, kitchens, etc.
  • Understand price/quality/durability ratios and always be on the hunt for a good bargain.
  • Think upcycling and repurposing old into new.
  • Research auction sites to find unique “whoa factor pieces” to add to our projects.
4. Material & Prototype Research
  • Source physical material samples and manage the in-house sample library.
  • Assist the Chief Architect in vetting new suppliers and artisans across our international markets.
  • Take ownership of interior solutions and their associated materials, including floors.

The Career Path:

We hire architects for this role as we are looking for creative but also technical mindset. We work as a team that understands the why behind all that we create as the only path to uniqueness.

As the Interior Architect, you have two career path options.

The Interior Architect Path.
  • Year 1–2: Junior Specialist. Master the Puzl Revit workflow and procurement logic. Support a Lead Interior Architect in implementing a project.
  • Year 3-4: Mid Interior Architect. Take full design and coordination ownership of high-impact zones (Café, Event Spaces) within a project while supporting the Lead Interior Architect for the remaining parts of the project.
  • Year 4+: Interior Project Lead. Transition into a lead role, managing the entire design-to-delivery cycle of a new project renovation. In addition, you will have a Junior Specialist in your team whom you will have to onboard, teach and lead to success.

Some of us are more interested in leading processes than People. And that is fine! As such, in Puzl, a Senior Interior Architect can take an expert career path and become the go to person in the team to solve high complexity challenges while also focusing on building product definitions and finding new innovative solutions. Experts receive the same level of access and remuneration as leads.

The Technical Architect Path Switch.

This path will take you to technical drawings of interior which include custom furniture and Interior elements, all the way to becoming a Project Lead Architect focusing on the Planning, MEPs, licensing, and worksite Quality Assurance of projects.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Architecture (M.Arch or equivalent). A passion for Interior Design is mandatory, but your foundation must be architectural.
  • Software: We work with Revit. So it’s best if you have used the software. Experience with rendering software (Enscape/AI), SketchUp and Photoshop or Canva is a significant plus.
  • AI: Strong interest in introducing AI to all aspects of your work and responsibilities. And yes… We ain’t fully sure how either… But we’ll get there.
  • Aesthetic Eye: A deep passion for adaptive reuse, eclectic design styles with an industrial touch, art, textures, and lighting atmosphere. Creative and unconventional thinking.
  • Material Knowledge: A keen eye for textures, colors, and lighting. You should understand how materials age and perform in high-traffic commercial environments.
  • Experience: 0–3 years. We are looking for a high-potential "designer" who wants to grow with the brand.
  • Language: Professional English is required. If not perfect - fear not - you’ll learn.
